As part of Horizon Europe’s first pillar : « Excellent Science », the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions aim to encourage the mobility of researchers between countries, sectors and disciplines on research projects and training programmes.

Features :

The aim of the MSCA is to promote the careers of researchers through the acquisition of new knowledge and skills. Projects must include a training programme and a mobility.

Fundings :

MSCA Post-Doctoral Fellowship (Individual Fellowship under H2020) : PF projects fund individual projects, lasting from 12 to 24 months (or 24 to 36 months if a phase outside Europe is planned). The project budget includes the salary of the person recruited and funding for consumables, training and mobility.

MSCA Doctoral Network (Innovative Training Network under H2020): These calls fund collaborative projects and cover the costs of recruiting doctoral students.

MSCA Staff Exchange (Research and Innovation Saff Exchange): These collaborative projects support the short-term mobility of research staff to carry out the project.

MSCA Cofund: By providing co-financing, MSCA COFUND calls make it possible to support new or existing doctoral or post-doctoral training programmes. The budget covers recruitment and environmental costs.

MSCA Citizens : The MSCA and citizens action aims to bring research closer to the general public, to raise awareness about research and innovation activities among citizens and to demonstrate the role of research for society. The aim is also to encourage young people to take up scientific careers.
