As part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action – Post-Doctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF), Université Paris Cité, will fund the salary and research of a ‘Seal of Excellence’ holders.

About the MSCA – PF
MSCA – PF is one of the European Union leading programmes for young researchers and post-docs. This action covers the salary of the beneficiary and includes a mobility allowance and research funding. These contracts are funded on the basis of excellence and mobility.
To be eligible, candidates must submit a research project drafted with a supervisor from the host institution and must not have lived in the host country for more than 12 months in the last 3 years.
MSCA PF projects that are judged excellent (with a minimum score of 85/100) but that could not be funded will be awarded a Seal of Excellence.
Seal of Excellence:
Université Paris Cité supports the laureates of a Seal of Excellence.
During this 2025-2030 test phase, 4 seal of Excellence will be funded, it will be 1 per year. The UPCité Seal of Excellence action covers the laureate salary for 24 months (in line with the university’s salary scales), a mobility grant of 4 000 euros to cover for the winners’ travel costs and 44 000 euros for environmental costs.
UPCité Seal of Excellence laureates commit to submit a European project during or at the end of their Seal of Excellence funding.
Only projects submitted with a supervisor in one of our research units and under the management of Université Paris Cité or Institut Physique du Globe de Paris are eligible
The eligible calls are: HORIZON-MSCA-2025-PF, HORIZON-MSCA-2026-PF* et HORIZON-MSCA-2027-PF*.
